Jeung-Hwa Park is a textile artist whos work really captivates and interests me. Everything about it is so appealing.

“Softly rounded textures transform this delicately coloured two-dimensional, machine knitted woollen fabric into a three-dimensional sculpture. Using nuts, seeds and beans, the artist ties tiny bundles over selected sections of the fabric before dyeing and felting the fabric” Quote taken from Textiles Now

I love Parks work so much. It is down to her ability to choose the most subtle yet stunning colours, and combine them with delicate textures. There is something very natural and organic about her work, and the way that she uses items such as nuts and chickpeas to create her work is very fresh.

Michael Kors Resort 2012. Another one of my favourite Resort Collections, not only is this one of my favourite 2012 Resort collections, but also one of my all time! The collection was inspired by a trip that Mr Kors took to Australia AKA, one of the most fresh, tropical countries for exotic wildlife. There was a very Sportswear apparel running throughout the collection, with influences from Scuba Diving being present. What really stood out to me was the neon, block colours paired with the sharp, slick straight lines of the cuts. The evening column maxi dress with the side split was a favourite of mine, due to the simplicity. Bravo, Pure Luxury!!
